Minnesota Hockey requires all games to be scored with GameSheet.

If you are unable to use GameSheet, a paper score sheet is required. The GameSheet app is expected to be used for every game, but in an emergency type situation- use a paper sheet.

If a game is not recorded on GameSheet or paper - it does not count as a game.

Minnesota Hockey partners with GameSheet for digital game tracking and takes the place of traditional paper scoring. GameSheet is a state-of-the-art hockey programming and game recording system that allows for efficient and convenient game management.

• Every District 8 team will receive a unique code at the beginning of the season
• Each association should ensure that teams have access to an iPad for scoring
• Training volunteers is strongly encouraged
• District 8 league games will be pre-uploaded.

1. Team staff will need to create a league game using the "Load from schedule" option.
2. Scrimmages, games, exhibition games need to be created from scratch.
3. If this is the case, choose the Districts Exhibition Season and create game from there.
4. For teams outside of District 8 that have their own unique GameSheet code, they will be an option to choose as your visitor.

• USA Hockey rosters can be uploaded with the team code on approved registers.
• GameSheet rosters need to reflect the active coaches & skaters playing in that game. Each person on the bench needs to be accounted for in the game roster.
• Before each game, the head coach will need to de-activate any coaches or players that are not playing.
• If a roster is updated AFTER the game is downloaded on the iPad, they will not appear in the game. Changes after the game is downloaded can be made directly on the ipad.
• Changes can be made to rosters up until game time, once a game is downloaded on the iPad, it lives there until either deleted or uploaded.
• Make sure any coach or player suspensions and injuries are properly notated.
• All Final GameSheet games must be signed and locked by a ref.
• Once a game is finalized by the refs, upload the game.
• If a game is not-uploaded, it will remain on the iPad it was scored on.

If you are missing a league game, check the iPad used if a home game. If an away game, reach out to the visitor team first. If game is still missing, reach out to Kate or Dave.

District 8 is unable to make changes to game statistics one a game has been locked. If there is an error, or correction that needs to be made regarding the playing of the game itself, you will need to reach out to Dave Weimer to make those changes.

Do not unlock a game that has already been locked.
