As we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic while returning players to the ice, Minnesota Hockey will continue to provide updates to our associations and members. These considerations focus on several phases of returning our members to the rinks throughout the state of Minnesota.
Message from Mike Mannin, President, Minnesota Hockey Officials Assoc.
To abide by the State Of Minnesota mandate that masks be worn in all public buildings, (which means locker rooms) Please re-enforce this with your officials, as MN Hockey has already raised a concern where they have seen officials in locker rooms not wearing any face covering. Coaches have to wear them in their locker rooms and so do we.
Yea they suck, who knows if they work, I'm six feet away, doesn't matter, it's a state mandate and we don't need to be the ones who shut these rinks down because we're not following the mandate!
